Garden City Hotel, Best Western Signature Collection

Neat clean, great location , helpful staff.

Easy to find location. The room was clean and good size

Whilst not in the city centre this location suits our needs. It is easy to access by car from the bypass and the road system facilitates moving around the city. Parking is plentiful. The rooms are as pictured, very clean and comfortable. Good bed, pillows, linen, towels. Excellent value for money in Canberra. We stay a couple of times a year and really enjoy the atmosphere and food at the German Club next door. (Not noisy) Breakfast offers a large variety of options and is perfectly adequate. However the quality of the food is debatable, just okay not delicious. The hotel grounds are attractive and the pool area nicely landscaped. We always look forward to our visit.

Lovely to have a full buffet breakfast. The hot food did tend to be not very hot and the hash browns a bit overcooked and dried out - but altogether it was good. All the other food on the buffet was great. It would have been a nice touch to have had little teapots available instead of just the cups. Lovely to have fresh cut melons available and little pastries as well. Wide selection of breads to toast. We also stayed for dinner and the evening meals were really good - lovely chips. The waitress was great as well.

Fabulous value in a great location- all staff friendly and efficient, very good buffet breakfast included in price. Beds were extremely comfy (BYO pillow if you're picky), water pressure was terrific/ lots of hot water, far better than a lot of "upmarket " motels. Rooms clean, everything worked, opening windows, air conditioning. Location was next to the German Club (delicious food) and a short drive from all Canberran sights. Parking outside, on premises, with no height restrictions We will be staying here next time we visit the ACT.
